Hi!
For something like that to work youβd have to connect the child object to the parent object by something like a joint, or a series of joints (like a chain). That way you can make the child object be an object that can be picked up by itself. If you define a break force for the joint(s), you can also make breakable objects, allowing you to jank the hose off the fire extinguisher for example.
I donβt have any code ready to be used for this use case, but Iβd say start off with a ball and chain or something similar and go from there. :]
