I am a HS teacher working with a student who is hoping to create an app to limit distractions. Is it possible to use geofencing to access Apple’s controls? Specifically, would she be able access the screen time controls?

Hi @vincentday, thank you for posting your question here. I did a little research and did not find any resources from the Apple developer site that suggests there is an Api for Screen Time. I don’t believe you can access the screen time controls as of now. Hope this answers your question!

Thanks for the response. I did some digging too and it appears that Apple is shutting down apps that have previously offered this type of functionality because of the new iOS 12 screen time features. See this post from the Freedom app:
