Chapter 20: text could be clearer

Text says: “You’ve already limited the directional light’s shadow via clipping, but that’s based on the light’s position.”

But nowhere was it explained in the text why that is true. It’s because of the shadow settings:
Shadow Projection
X Auto Adjust
X Custom limit
100
