I just bought a number of books from the store but when SwiftUI released. I cannot see UIKIT and Storyboard anymore in September. I am not sure that Ray will update them. Also, I am still learning so it is hard to like a professional developer being aware of what they happened.
We’re currently in the process of updating most of our iOS books for iOS 13, Xcode 11, and Swift 5.1 - and these will be free updates for digital version customers.
As for SwiftUI, we’re handling it on a case-by-case basis. For books where the main topic is related to UI, we’ll definitely be covering it. But for books where the main topic is not UI, the sample projects may continue to use UIKit in some cases.
We’ll be writing a post on our site with more details on what books will be updated, and what will be changing in each book soon!
