Why is there no validation set when training an object detector model in Turi Create using TinyYOLO (page 351)?
Turi makes its own validation set by setting aside 5% of the training set.

Why, then, does it only report Loss instead of Training Accuracy and Validation Accuracy?
Ah, you’re right. It appears that Turi Create doesn’t actually use a validation set here. Not sure why. Perhaps they felt it wasn’t necessary here.
