I created a new repo, cloned it down to my Mac, made some local edits and did an add-commit-push. I got the following message from the GitTeam:
You recently used a password to access the repository at with git using git/2.24.3 (Apple Git-128).
Basic authentication using a password to Git is deprecated and will soon no longer work. Visit Token authentication requirements for Git operations - The GitHub Blog for more information around suggested workarounds and removal dates.
Any word from the author on how to deal with this?
