I was wanting to follow along with your tutorial but as I was converting the source files to swift3 I ran into some issues and had the following error.:: Cannot convert value of type āCGColorā to expected argument type āUnsafePointerā Do you have any suggestions.

I tried going through the tutorial but after including
import Alamofire
right below import UIKit in the PickFlavorViewController.swift, I ran into the following Swift Compiler error:
No such module āAlamofireā
Iāve looked through the comments. Several suggest updating the version number of Alamofire, which I also tried. Iām sure Iām missing something simple.
Iām having the same problem with the import alamofire line under Xcode 8 after updating the project to the recent Swift version

I have had success doing the following steps:
Uninstall ruby via homebrew.
Uninstall cocoapods
Reinstall cocoapods under /usr/local/bin sudo gem install -n /usr/local/bin cocoapods
reinstall ruby 2.4 via homebrew.
I have ruby 2.4 and cocoapods on my mac, and am able to run pod install without issue.)

I got so much out of this tutorial. I learned what CocoaPods is, I used the terminal for the first time in my life, and I installed everything correctly.
HOWEVER - the Xcode project is out of date and didnāt work at all. I got 166 build errors. Could you please post an updated project for Swift 3 and the latest versions of Alamofire and the other one?

@jrg.developer, it would really help to have an updated version for Xcode 8.x and Swift 3.x. I managed to fix the loadFlavors() problem but only because I saw Mauroās answer. Otherwise all works, and this is an excellent tutorial that would see more use if updated.
