I never thought that setting up a LAMP server on Linode would be as difficult as setting up an ec2. I imagine how much time it would take for one to do it. Great write up. But I don’t get why someone would try to manually setup php on Linode when you have server management services, like Cloudways, that makes the process less painful. This looks like a better options as it saves my time, but still curious to know why someone would manually setup a server.
