Hi @bruce1971,
There are plenty of tutorials on the site to manage posting to rest api.

There is a secret weapon, in case you want to short cut and get ahead, download Postman and set the parameters at the end it will also generate the code for you. That is the easiest and fastest way to get to the REST API.
