How does Reminders app share list with other iCloud accounts?

I’m trying to create an app like the Reminders app in iOS. I would like to figure out how to share a list with other iCloud accounts like the Reminders app does. Anyone know how to do that? I think it’s a matter of sharing the Calendar item the list of Reminders belongs to.

You could look at using something like CloudKit to achieve this. You basically have to roll out your own server component (either custom or BAS), I think CloudKit makes this really easy for you so it’s probably worth looking into
