Deprecated Variable

Hello Guys!
There’s a chapter dedicated to them, and the first example chapter that we need to work on it as well - it’s Variables.
They’re deprecated though, so their use is not possible. Is there going to be an update to the book or what should we do?

+1 for this as well, hope this book continues to be updated, especially it’s been awhile for v2 of the book I am going through the tutorial again and was prompted for deprecation as well.
