Chapter 17 can't show UIImage

I followed the text book from starter project but can’t properly show a image.
Even tried out the final version but could not get an image as well.
The console showed
iGif[1147:179544] Connection 5: unable to determine interface type without an established connection error.

how can I make it to work?

I can confirm that the networking works, I’ll ping @fpillet to see if he has time to check if the external gif library still works fine
