Hi, I have started video tutorials on Android path. I noticed you also have a book about Android. I am wondering if the curriculum of the book repeats video tutorials and if the apps are identical (at least i understood that the very first app is the same in the tutorials and in the book).

The first and third course in our Android Path overlap with the first two apps built in our book Android Apprentice. The remainder of the Android Path video courses are new material not in the book, going into detail on topics like layouts, recyclerview, animations, and more.
Conversely, the Android Apprentice book does build out two additional apps that are not covered in the video courses, one a map app and one a podcast player. So the book and video courses have some overlap but both give unique material too. I hope this answers your question and thanks again!
