I recently downloaded the sample code of the Unity AR & VR book, and I tried to test it with Unity 2019.1.10 and AR Foundation 2.1.1. I set all the components on the GameObjects as required in the book, but the ball just stays in front of the camera, and is not anchored in the real world. Is there a component I forget to add ?
Your best bet is to use Unity 2018.2 until they update the book.
